Key Drawer/CRM System

This system is used by Retail Automotive Stores to close sales, manage inventory and follow through on sales leads. It is a CRM (Customer Retention Management System) with a custom Key Drawer Peripheral (Designed and Developed by Think Tank, patent pending).

The Key Drawer: There are 300 special electronic key fobs in the drawer. A set of keys may be attached to each fob. The fobs communicate with the computer. If a salesperson wants a particular key, that key is requested through the computer. The key fob lights up and the drawer unlocks. The salesperson simply opens the drawer and removes the lighted key. When the drawer is closed, the key drawer performs an inventory to see which keys have been removed or replaced. A database in the computer keeps track of who took which key, at which time and for what reason.

The system includes a Key Drawer, a Magnetic Stripe Card Reader, a Photo Scanner and Fingerprint technology. These components all use Think Tank Custom Software Drivers. Electronics inside the Key Drawer include a Stamp Control Card, High Output Infrared Transceiver Cards, and our patent pending ICU (Inventory Control Unit) technology
